What is Worthwhile?
Worthwhile is an entry route into graduate roles in small charities and social enterprises.
Worthwhile places career starters in paid full-time roles with interesting organisations. We also offer support for that first year through our dedicated graduate scheme tailored to the sector.
Why?
There a few things that really matter when starting out in your career:
  • A role that stretches you
  • High quality training
  • A network of peers and mentors.
Finding these now will set you up for a successful and impactful career.
How is Southampton Hub and Student Hubs involved?
Southampton Hub is part of national charity Student Hubs and they work as one of the organisations who take part in the Worthwhile grad scheme. Worthwhile grads may get placed in one of our seven Hubs across the network, or at a different organisation which Worthwhile work with.
Our Projects Officer, Clara, is a current Worthwhile graduate and is happy to speak to volunteers about her personal experience with the grad scheme's training programme. You can email her at clara.johnston@southamptonhub.org.
