March 2018 - March 2019
Southampton Hub
Interested in joining the Southampton Hub student team?
Being part of the executive or sub-committee for Southampton Hub is a great way to improve your skills, get relevant experience, learn from other students and make our current projects even more successful.
If you're enthusiastic, passionate, driven and want to learn from other students and the Southampton Hub staff team, this is a great opportunity for you. The only role available at the moment is our Sustainability Coordinator, but all roles will be re-advertised from March for our 2019-20 committee.
What can I apply for?
We have one executive committee role left to fill: Sustainability. It is advised that you email when you put in your application as these applications will not be checked daily, and so will help process your application quicker.
An executive role is great if you're looking for experience in running a project, managing other volunteers, running events, building relationships with community partners and getting an in-depth experience of what it's like to be involved with a charity.
When do I need to apply?
The committee will be voting on all unfilled executive committee positions on a rolling basis dependant on applications.
What if I’m unsure about applying?
If you would like to speak to somebody about what’s expected as part of the executive or sub-committee, speak to the current committee member or email and we can put you in touch with the relevant person.
We are an inclusive organisation and can make reasonable adjustments to the application process and committee role on a case-by-case basis. We also provide ongoing support for the students we work with, so if you have particular accessibility needs, please do get in touch at
